What a Week!

Wow, where to start? Life has been pretty eventful this past week.

I'll start with the discovery of a thing called a 'treat', my goodness how good these are!! We were playing in the back yard and Dad told me to 'sit', which I did. He made me sit for quite a while and then said 'Okay' and gave me the treat. I've never tasted anything so good! I must admit I got a bit too excited and may have even gone temporarily insane.

Last Thursday I was taken for a ride in the car. We went to this place called a Vet where this women I've never seen before stuck me with a sharp object and made my neck itch, Mum said it was protection against disease and I was a good girl. I did have a bit of a cry at the Vets because it was a little scary and I'd never seen the place before. I climbed up on Dad's shoulder which was comforting.

When we got home I was given a beef flavoured block which I thought was a treat, but apparently it was actually to kill worms. It must have been that red one I ate or all of those bugs have turned into worms in my tummy. Mum also put this liquid on my back and said something about fleas.

Over the weekend I got to meet all these other humans. It's was mum's birthday so they had quite a few visitors and I got to show off. Most humans are friendly and I got lots of attention and pats. There was one odd human though, he seemed to freeze up and look at me in a disapproving manner - most odd.

Dad gave me this chew thing that is sort of made out of really, really hard food. I've been chewing it for days and I've barely dented it.
